Making it through May-hem

Even if you don't have kids in school right now, chances are that you are pushing through to the finish line of "May-hem" with a close friend or relative. The month of May starts off with so much excitement over spring being in full bloom, school being almost over, and a beautiful devotion to our Blessed Mother. But by about half-way through the month, we are often overwhelmed and just trying to make it through the frenzy. If you haven't had time to spend in devotion to Mary, try to set aside 15 or 20 minutes to recite the joyful mysteries of the rosary or even choose one of the mysteries to meditate on while you drive to your daily destination. If you don't know it by heart, don't fret; there are several options available that recite the rosary aloud that you can follow along with. Hallow offers a free version that even allows you to pick who you want to guide the rosary for you! Don't quit if you get distracted or even if you get interrupted. God doesn't judge based off of perfection, He loves with unending grace. Let's honor Mary in our thoughts and prayers for the last days of May before we turn our focus to the Sacred Heart of Jesus in June.

Blessings & Peace,

Shelly
